I'm really disappointed by the dive modcloth has taken over the last year. Their customer service used to be great and is now terrible. I have been trying to return a dress for weeks. No one has answered the phone, returned my emails, or responded to their live customer chat.
Additionally, the quality and style of their clothes has gone downhill while their prices are higher than ever.
I ordered a parcel over a month ago. Shipping labels were generated but the shipping company tells me the parcel has not been delivered to them yet.
I have emailed customer service twice with no reply.I went to their official site of this company and I found this helpful info which .is and after a long chase, I got my amount back shipping details as well DO NOT BUY FROM THIS
I ordered something over a week ago and i have received no communication from ModCloth with shipping information. I went to check on the website and they expect you to download an app to track shipping? Why make it hard for your customers to do basic things like shipping? 0/10 do not recommend. This will be my last order with ModCloth as their clothes are too cheaply made for the hassle. I can get better clothes cheaper and faster pretty much everywhere else on the internet.
I have bought a number of items including ties a jacket and 3 suits all together, i absolutely love the clothing good quality and always fits perfectly, always get replies from Pete if I have a question about any of my orders really friendly guy and very helpful i will definitely be ordering more items from him in the future, can recommend a100%,excellent service
I placed an order on April 28, 2021. It shipped and arrived. I didn't like the pieces and emailed, called, and chatted to return. Over 10 days of no response, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Finally, someone emailed me and said they were really sorry and overloaded. As well, that someone else would contact me about the RA. I am sensitive to being overworked, but you can't run a business this way and I'll never return.
I have been trying to get a hold of mod cloth customer service for days now. Everything I call I go straight to voice mail. I’ve emailed them and called them multiple times. I need to initiate a return and I can’t. They’re customer service is not good at all.
The quality of their products have dropped significantly and somehow the cost has increased. I am someone that appreciates quality and am willing to pay for it. The chances of finding items off quality is a hit or miss and for the past several years it has been a miss.
I have also noticed off late poor reviews of their products are not posted on their website. I stopped shopping with them a few years ago and decided to give them another try at the end of last year; not much has changed. I also find a lot of the messages of the products directed at angry feminist or lonely cat obsessed people. I am a woman, I support women and believe in women’s strength. However, I am able to do so without the angry feminist messages.
Most recently, i purchased a cotton dress and followed the instructions when washing it somehow, it fell apart in the washer. Several seams just came apart with no identified cause and it did not happen to any of the other items (not from ModCloth) I washed together. I had to throw it out.
Fortunately, there are many other companies providing vintage inspired products with significantly higher quality. Without the angry feminist messages or the generic responses.
A few years ago I bought a quilt that came frayed. Left a bad review that they took down because they "do not publish reviews for defective items". The only resolution they offered me was a 10% discount for my next purchase (I spent around $100 for this quilt). TERRIBLE customer service. I should have gotten a complete RETURN for a "defective" item. They didn't even offer to send me a replacement. No integrity with this company.
I gave them a 4 star review for a jacket I really liked because it had a hole in the pocket and receive an email saying they won't post my review because it's unsatisfactory.
I ordered some rather expensive dresses late 2020. Understandably there'd be some delays. Once received, I realized the items did not fit. I went about returning them on the same day of opening. I was out of pocket almost $70AU in international shipping. The package took over a month to get back. I checked in on the tracking and it was received, but Modcloth have not issued any response or given me a refund. I had gone on to reorder and the new items ALSO don't fit. The returns process is horrible. International shipping is expensive and the company have not responded to any emails. I would not recommend. I'm out of pocket by hundreds of dollars.
I used to love ModCloth, it was the only place I bought dresses. However the quality and overall experience has gone downhill since they have gotten more popular. It used to be a fun website with a vintage feel but more staple pieces for the everyday wardrobe and the average dress for the higher end was around 50-60 dollars. Now all the dresses are heavily vintage with. Strong feminist vibe, not for a classic wardrobe and they are very expensive the more popular they have gotten with the average dress starting around 90-150. And the quality has gone down. I used to be able to count on ModCloth to find great quality dress that were affordable and I could keep in my closet that were timeless. Not anymore. I haven’t bought a dress in a long time because nothing is worth it. Sometimes I think I find a nifty coat but those are 250+ and the sizes are never around long enough if I did want to buy it.
I ordered a parcel over a month ago. Shipping labels were generated but the shipping company tells me the parcel has not been delivered to them yet.
I have emailed customer service twice with no reply. I live overseas so I cannot call. I spent quite a large amount of money and I’m really upset

Yes, there are full cash refunds and online store credit for the returns. It is annoying, but you would go into the purchase history and there is a section to return whatever items you want. Then when you have completed that section there should be a return
Label paper that you print out from your email. It is a fedex paper. The returns should be free.
